Victoria Cregg, of Penacook, Receives Nurse's Pin at Saint Anselm College's Nurse Pinning Ceremony
2013 May 28
Victoria Cregg, of Penacook, N.H., a nursing graduate from Saint Anselm College, received a Saint Anselm College nurse's pin at the 2013 pinning ceremony in the Abbey Church on April 27.
It was a special day for Cregg, who received a pin featuring elements of the college's official seal and the symbol of a lamp referring to Psalm 119:105, "Your word is a lamp of my steps and a light for my path." Dr. Sharon George, dean of nursing, pinned her with the Saint Anselm pin to wear for the entirety of her career.
The pinning ceremony is a celebration of a student's completion of Saint Anselm College's respected nursing program and symbolizes preparedness to serve as a compassionate caregiver in the healthcare setting.
Cregg received a Bachelor of Science in nursing on May 18 at Saint Anselm College's 120th commencement ceremonies.
