Sarah Haigh, of Hanover, Inducted into Saint Anselm College's Honors Society

Sarah Haigh, a nursing major from Hanover, Mass., is one of 38 students inducted into Saint Anselm College's TAU Chapter of the Delta Epsilon Sigma honor society, recognizing her for achieving academic excellence and providing noteworthy service to the college and surrounding community.

To apply for membership, Saint Anselm juniors must have a 3.2 cumulative grade point average and seniors a 3.1 cumulative grade point average to apply for membership. Applicants are selected by a committee of TAU chapter faculty and administrators based on academic standing, leadership, and service to the college and community.

Delta Epsilon Sigma is a national scholastic honor society for students, faculty, staff, and alumni of colleges with a Catholic heritage. The honor society fosters scholarly activities and encourages a spirit of intellectual community among its members. Over one hundred colleges and universities have been granted chapter status since Delta Epsilon Sigma was founded in 1939.
