N. Stratford Resident and Saint Anselm College student is reappointed a Student Ambassador at the College's New Hampshire Institute of Politics & Political Library

2013 Nov 15

Caleb Mason of N. Stratford, N.H., a international business major and member of Saint Anselm College's class of 2014 has been reappointed a 2013-2014 Kevin Harrington Student Ambassador at the college's New Hampshire Institute of Politics & Political Library (NHIOP).

An elite group of student leaders, the Institute’s student ambassadors play an important role in supporting special events, welcoming and introducing presidential and congressional candidates, public figures and a range of scholars, who headline the Institute’s events. The Kevin Harrington Student Ambassadors not only support programing at the Institute, but help promote civic engagement at the college and in the state and local communities.

The NHIOP at Saint Anselm College was established in 2001 to serve as a resource for students, scholars, politicians and the general public. It offers unparalleled opportunities for students to be in the front row of the democratic process. It is nationally known to political scholars and strategists and is an essential stop for candidates on the way to the White House.

Founded on the premise that an engaged citizenship is vital for a healthy democracy, the Institute conducts programs and research that are designed to enlighten and encourage people for a lifetime of civic participation.

It has no alliances, formal or informal, with any political party, organization or agenda but seeks to develop programming, and to foster scholarship and dialogue, encompassing a diverse range of political topics, opinions and issues.

Saint Anselm College is a Catholic, liberal arts college in the Benedictine tradition located in Manchester, N.H.
